About me, your local design squirrel

belkapod_big.jpg

I’m a fat furry squirrel currently nesting in Atlanta. I’m also a 6th quarter design student at Portfolio Center. Someday I hope to be a mighty design squirrel who specializes in interactive design, motion graphics and all things ridiculous. I enjoy traditional graphic design through exploring hand-made and non-traditional techniques, while at the same time I love learning about animation and interactivity in the digital world. My background is in Fine Art, and I have a BA from Oglethorpe University. I also have a certificate in Art Restoration from the School of Applied Arts in Sevilla, Spain, and a certificate in Russian Language from St. Petersburg State University, in St. Petersburg, Russia.

When not inundated with countless design projects at school, I am at Kimberly-Clark Corporation working in the Packaging and Aesthetic Research Center, specializing in digital textile printing.

Alas, when my furry head is allowed a little rest, I enjoy sleeping, painting, travel, photography, badminton, and idle time in coffee shops. My daily activities include gathering nuts, hopping through trees, and running across roads and power lines.
